Serafino Foti: "The bike has improved a lot"

After three years, Serafino Foti and the Feel Racing outfit are back with Ducati in the World Superbike Championship, with official support by the Italian manufacturer. The new factory effort by Borgo Panigale’s company in the series has led to a significant development of the 1199 Panigale R, which is now a bike capable of running at the front. The two year contract signed with both Davide Giugliano and Chaz Davies is a sign that Ducati aims to challenge for the title in 2015.
“We worked hard during the winter,” said Serafino Foti. “We improved the bike and made big steps forward, but what is very important is the connection between the team and the factory and the atmosphere in the garage, which are both great. We are doing our best and we hope to continue this way.”
“We are very happy with our riders” he continued, “they are really focused on their targets, motivated and improving all the time. We are pushing 100% in the same direction and I hope we will get some good results in the last rounds and, more importantly, next year. The new rules are OK for us and we are confident that the Panigale will suit the changes well. Both Giugliano and Davies have a two year contract with Ducati and that means we can work on the mid-term to make sure we can challenge for the title in 2015.”
