Bardahl Evan Bros with Caricasulo in World Supersport
Team present their 2016 WorldSSP project in Verona.
The Ravenna-based Italian outfit captained by Fabio Evangelista is to join the FIM Supersport World Championship with Federico Caricasulo. The young Italian, after coming 3rd in the now disappeared STK600 category last year, will be riding a Honda CBR 600 prepared by Mauro Pellegrini.
Federico Caricasulo: “Once more the Evans Bros. team has believed in me and given life to this ambitious project. I want to thank the Team, Bardahl, Honda Motor Europe and everyone who supports me. I promise my dedication and concentration will be at maximum to try and get the best possible results in my first year in the World Championship aboard my amazing CBR.”
Fabio Evangelista: “We’ll take on this new adventure with great humility, working methodically and passionately as we always have done, and the results will come. Federico Caricasulo was already an important part of our project and we put a lot of faith in him, knowing that in WorldSSP he can show the enormity of his talent.”
Mauro Pellegrini: “It’s an exciting and stimulating challenge for me, this project in World Supersport. I’ve been with Federico now for two years and I have a great feeling with him. The tests we did in Spain were very positive and I’ll continue working hard on the objective we’ve taken on: making our Honda CBR 600 even more competitive.”
