Some stats and facts about WorldSBK at the Circuito de Jerez
281 – Are the amount of points scored by Chaz Davies in Spain so far: no other current rider matches this. Sykes follows at 257 points.
62 – So far there have been 62 races held on Spanish soil in WorldSBK history.
40 – The last three consecutive poles set in Jerez were set in the 1 minute 40 seconds bracket: 1’40.620 in 2013, 1’40.298 in 2014 and 1’40.292 last year.
32 – Ducati has won more than half of all the races held in Spain: 32 out 62. They’ve won on all five Spanish tracks at least three times, with Valencia being their most successful with 13 wins.
13 – Troy Corser has climbed on the podium 13 times in Spain: he leads the standings from Haga (12). Riders with 10 podiums are: Chaz Davies, Tom Sykes, Aaron Slight and Troy Bayliss.
