How each bike has performed to date at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli

Aprilia have won 6 times in Misano, scoring three doubles. The first one was in 2000 with Troy Corser, then further doubles followed in 2010 and 2012 with Max Biaggi. Since that last double, Aprilia have come 3rd three times in Misano, the last one being last year with Leon Haslam in Race 2. Aprilia also got a bike on the front row here both last year (Haslam 2nd) and two years ago (Guintoli 3rd).

In 2010, Troy Corser recorded the first BMW pole in WorldSBK history in Misano (incidentally the last of the 43 poles in Corser's career). They have also climbed  on the podium in third twice, their best result here: with the aforementioned Corser in Race 1 in 2010 (the last of Corser's 130 podiums) and with Leon Haslam in Race 2 in 2012. Last year their best result was a seventh in Race 1 with Ayrton Badovini.

With 28 wins, 11 poles and 75 podiums out of 46 races run in Misano, Ducati has no rivals in the all-time standings. The Borgo Panigale factory have the honour of having the most wins and podiums of any manufacturer on any track in the history of WorldSBK with their record at Misano. Last year, they bounced back after leaving Misano in 2014 without a podium placement for the only time in history: Davies was third in Race 1 and Giugliano second in Race 2.

Their last wins here came in 2011: a double by Carlos Checa.

Honda is second for podium finishes at Misano: 16 (4 wins), one more than third-placed Kawasaki, but they have struggled in recent times, as in the last sixteen races they were able to climb on the rostrum only twice: With a win by Rea in 2009 Race 2 (his first) and a second in Race 2, 2012, by the same Rea.

Last year the two Hondas of Guintoli and Van der Mark finished 9th and 10th in both races.

Kawasaki have recently been the bike to beat in Misano, as they took victory in the last four races, in three cases scoring a double (Sykes-Baz in both 2014 races and Sykes-Rea last year in Race 1).

Kawasaki, with Tom Sykes, have recorded pole in the last four Misano weekends (2011, 2012, 2014, 2015).

MV Agusta have recorded a points finish in the last two weekends in Misano: Claudio Corti was 13th in Race 1 two years ago, and Leon Camier finished in the same spot last year, again in Race 1.

Yamaha have won twice in Misano: in 2006 Race 2 with Andrew Pitt (the only win for the Australian) and in 2009 Race 1 with Ben Spies. In their last visit, back in 2011, they were able to score a podium with Melandri in third in Race 1, while in Race 2 both Yamaha riders (Melandri and Laverty) crashed out of the race.
