With the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship heading to South America for the 12^th round of the season in Argentina, MV Agusta Reparto Corse have announced Maximilan Scheib will race for the Italian factory in the MOTUL Argentinian Round, replacing Jordi Torres.

Hailing from Chile, Scheib has spent the last two seasons full time in the European Superstock 1000 Championship and was one of the main protagonists to take the title this season. Making the switch to WorldSBK in the 12^th round of the season, he will make his debut in the class and with MV Agusta. First swinging his leg over the 1000 F4 next weekend, he will be the second South American in the class giving the fans even more to shout about.

With nine podiums and two victories in STK1000, its clear the 23 year old has the experience and with his previous talent and skills shown, he will no doubt be motivated to perform well in South America. Fresh from finishing third overall in the final ever STK1000 season, Scheib will be on to watch.
