Entering the WorldSBK paddock at the age of 16, Christian Gamarino is not short of experience of racing on the world stage. Breaking into the Italian Championship in 2003, he quickly found his feet on the European racing scene; securing a European and Italian title. Entering the European Superstock 600 class in 2011, he had a steady rise across three seasons and was fighting for the title in 2013.
Graduating into the FIM Supersport Championship for the following season, Gamarino has had three mixed seasons in the class and was able to secure some solid top ten finishes. Moving across to BARDAHL EVAN BROS. Honda Racing, the Italian had a mixed season in 2017 and impressed on his home circuit but took 11th position overall.
Taking on the European Supersport Cup for 2018, a more manageable season will allow him to be more focused on the races in hand, as he starts with the Scuola Italiana Piloti team.
