Son of three-time WorldSBK Champion Troy Bayliss, Oli Bayliss’ arrival in 2023 brought one of the most notable surnames in motorcycling back to the WorldSBK paddock – and on a Ducati. He spent his first season in the Championship with Barni Ducati, achieving a top six finish as a best result, before switching to Davide Giuliano’s D34G Racing squad, again on the Panigale V2. An injury hit campaign in 2023 followed but he returns in 2024 to complete an all-Australian line-up for the team, alongside Tom Edwards.
