Having made his World Supersport debut in 2005, Pawel Szkopek is the older competitor on the grid at 45. However, the pole will hope to use all of his experience in the WorldSBK paddock to be a regular challenger for points. A best finish of 12th in WorldSSP and 14th in WorldSBK, Szkopek hopes that Yamaha machinery could push him further into the points.
