At 31, South African Sheridan Morais is one of the most experienced drivers in the Superbike World Championship paddock, where he has competed in various categories since his first season in the 2006, on the STK1000. He only missed the 2015 and 2016 seasons, as he was competing in MotoAmerica as well as testing in the FIM Endurance World Championship. In 2017 the Johannesburg driver will make his return to WorldSSP, a series he has experience in- competing back in 2012 and 2013. Signing with Kallio Racing aboard the Yamaha YZF-R6, he will form a duet with the Finnish Niki Tuuli.
