The 2011 Moto2 World Champion has made the leap to the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship in 2017, starting a new and ambitious stage of his career with the Honda World Superbike Team. The German rider moved up to MotoGP in 2012 after winning the Moto2™ crown, first signing for the LCR Honda team and then for the Aprilia Racing Team Gresini. At the end of his fifth season in the premier class, the 27-year-old decided to make a move to World Superbike, where he has found himself in his garage with former MotoGP rival Nicky Hayden.
Bradl will be the second German rider on the grid in 2017, and in his debut campaign he aspires to adapt quickly to the numerous changes he will face and fight for the top positions.
