About

2014 Moto2™ World Champion Tito Rabat made the move into WorldSBK for the 2021 season after five years competing in MotoGP™. The Spaniard brought a wealth of experience to the Barni Racing Team, but that partnership unfortunately ended before the season was over. Rabat found a new home at Kawasaki Puccetti Racing, stepping in as a replacement rider in 2021, 2022 and 2023, before securing a full-time seat with the team for 2024.

Rabat first made his name on the world stage in 2007 with his first podium in the 125cc World Championship. A three-year podium drought followed but he was soon back on the rostrum in 2010, before making the move into Moto2™ and claiming a podium in his debut season. Rabat took podiums in every season he raced in the category with his first win coming in 2013. 2014 would prove to be Rabat’s year in Moto2™ as he claimed seven wins and 14 podiums on his way to the title with 346 points; at the time, the highest points total in Moto2™. After attempting to defend his title in 2015, Rabat moved into MotoGP™ for 2016 and started 77 races, claiming a best finish of seventh place.

The #53 is equipped with a factory ZX-10RR for 2024, being leased from KRT, which both team and rider will help propel him closer to, and inside, the top ten at the very least.
