26-year-old Vertti Takala comes into the 2021 FIM Supersport World Championship as a relative unknown quantity as he graduates from the Kallio Racing Junior Team to the full-time team. Takala took a podium in the final round of the Spanish Supersport championship in 2020, and will look to continue that momentum and convert it into point-scoring rides in the World Championship for the ex-World Supersport Champions Kallio Racing.
