Badovini's seventh heaven
Ayrton Badovini (BMW Motorrad Italia STK) had to work hard to get to the front of the field for his seventh straight win of the year, but in taking a full points score he also secured the outright championship win.
Maxime Berger (Ten Kate Junior Race Honda) hit the front early on but could not hold off the lap record pace of Badovini, in race or championship terms.
Andrea Antonelli (Team Lorini Honda) finished third, but the day belonged to BMW and Badovini, the new Superstock FIM Cup champion.
