First tests for Parkes with Echo-CRS team
The Echo-CRS Honda Racing team carried out its first tests last weekend at the Almeria circuit in Spain in preparation for its first season in World Superbike.
It was also a debut for Broc Parkes in Echo-Crs colours as he got to grips with the CBR1000RR for the first time. "It's a really nice bike to ride", said the Australian. "I am trying to improve my feeling with the bike and I'm really happy to be a part of this team".
Team manager Sandro Di Stefano was also upbeat. "The results were interesting", he declared. "We are working hard to prepare for the 2010 season in the best possible way. I want to thank all of our sponsors for putting us in the condition to build up a team that is ready to compete at the highest level. And now, with the tests at Portimao we will face up to the other teams for the first time to see how competitive we are".
