'Kuba' overcomes the works boys in Q2
Pata B&G Ducati rider Jakub Smrz ripped up the established factory order, scoring the fastest time of the weekend so far with a 1'38.292 second lap in final qualifying to head into Superpole this afternoon as the first among equals.
Michel Fabrizio (Ducati Xerox) and Cal Crutchlow (Yamaha Sterilgarda) had unchanged best times as they were unable to beat their Friday best, while the top four is filled by the Hannspree Ten Kate Honda of Jonathan Rea. Leon Haslam (Suzuki Alstare) and Althea Ducati rider Carlos Checa went fifth and sixth.
