Misano World Circuit now named after Marco Simoncelli
This morning at the Misano World Circuit the new logo linking the Romagna circuit to Marco Simoncelli was unveiled. The logo was introduced during a press conference, in which Paolo Simoncelli, Marco's father, was also present.
Aldo Drudi, well-known designer and inventor of the graphics of many great motorsport champions, was given the task of creating an effective image. The result of the designer's inspiration is as follows: the traditional logo MWC Misano World Circuit together with the name Marco Simoncelli where the 'double l' evokes the red stripes of Sic's helmet.
The circuit now becomes known as 'Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli'.
