MV Agusta Reparto Corse – Yakhnich Motorsport riders unveiled
Joining Leonov will be Jules Cluzel, who marks his comeback to WSS after a year spent in Superbike. The Frenchman aims to challenge for top positions in the series that saw him runner-up in 2012.
Claudio Corti is the rider chosen to race the F4 RR in the eni FIM Superbike World Championship. The young Italian has a wealth of experience in motorcycle racing, further increased by his participation to MotoGP - CRT class - in the recent years.
The team is currently undergoing a two-day test at Circuito de Jerez in Spain, along with many other WSBK and WSS teams.
Claudio Corti: "Once I got this proposal I had no doubt on what to choose. I am honoured to represent such a powerful brand like MV Agusta, who is officially back to racing to be a protagonist, and at the same time I feel a big responsibility on my shoulders. We have a lot of work to do in our first WSBK but I'm ready to give my best and share my experience with the team, in order to reach together the highest goals."
Vladimir Leonov: "After two years of experience in World Supersport, I feel I have what it takes to fight for the podium. There's a new bike to ride, but the team is the same and I'm sure the MV Agusta F3 has a great potential. Our goal is to start the season the best way and to be consistently up front."
Jules Cluzel: "This is my chance to win the title after the near-miss of 2012. I'm now part of a great project, with the title winning team and the F3, which is a very competitive bike."
