Rolfo on 2013 season and future prospects
Roberto Rolfo ended his 2013 World Supersport season on a high note as he stepped on the podium, eight days ago, in the last race of the series at Jerez. With no testing and track data available, the 33 year old Italian claimed a sixth place in the final standings in what was the debut WSS season for the MV Agusta F3.

"It was a good season finale" he told WorldSBK.com "and a good reward for all we have done during the year. We managed to improve the bike race by race, despite the lack of testing. We made good steps forward, especially in the areas where we needed to improve the most, like acceleration and race consistency. We showed our potential on technical tracks like Donington Park and Jerez, while we had a bit of a harder time on circuits with long straights."

Rolfo has no doubts on the bike qualities: "I liked the F3 from the first time I rode it, it's perfect under braking and has excellent rideability, and I think everybody who tested or owns the street version agrees with me. That's one of the reasons I'd like to continue working with MV, a great company made by great people, and bring the development of the F3 further. At the moment I have no idea about my future, but I hope the situation will become clearer in the next few weeks.
