You won’t find a World Championship motorcycle racing paddock more accessible than that of WorldSBK. Stroll amongst the trucks, brush shoulders with the famous faces, question the riders at the Paddock Show and fill your race programme with autographs at the Pit Walk. A grid full of Champions
In Tom Sykes, Sylvain Guintoli and Jonathan Rea, the last three year’s WorldSBK Champions are all on the grid. They are surrounded by title winners from all walks of motorcycle racing. Leon Camier, Alex Lowes and Josh Brookes are all British Superbike Champions, while Markus Reiterberger (who picked up a fifth place in Thailand) has twice won the IDM Superbike title in Germany and is its reigning Champion. Chaz Davies and Michael van der Mark are World Supersport Champions of the past, while the Dutchman has also won the prestigious Suzuka 8 Hour race on two occasions. The likes of Davide Giugliano serve as ideal examples to the stars of the future, having come up through the Superstock 1000 ranks as a title winner, while Jordi Torres was a back-to-back Champion in the FIM CEV. All of these names are now fighting each other on a single WorldSBK grid. The mind boggles…
