It’s been a character-building first WorldSBK season for VFT Racing, the family-run team which saw its rider Fabio Menghi injured in the Phillip Island pre-season test.

All has not been lost, though, as Matteo Baiocco and Luca Scassa proved when they substituted for their fellow Italian who finally made his debut at Misano.
