ARAGON TEST: who’s on track when throughout the two-day Aragon test?
The last test before racing begins takes place at MotorLand Aragon, the last chance for teams and riders to refine their package because racing begins
The wait is nearly over for the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship to get back to racing, with only one more two-day test before the Pirelli Aragon Round. MotorLand Aragon also hosts the Dorna Supported Test in the week leading up to the round. Riders from all three classes will take to the track, with both days of track action split into nine sessions with WorldSBK, WorldSSP and WorldSSP300 each getting three sessions per day on track.
On Monday 4th April, the action starts at 10:00am Local Time (GMT+2) with the 30 WorldSSP300 riders hitting the track for a 30-minute session. The WorldSSP300 riders also get a second session before the break on Monday from 12:30 for 30 minutes. WorldSSP riders take to the track at 10:40, for a 45-minute session, while the WorldSBK machines will hit Aragon at 11:35 also for a 45-minute session. The afternoon action starts at 13:30 with WorldSSP before WorldSBK returns to the track at 14:25. WorldSSP300’s final day one action starts at 15:20, before WorldSSP at 16.00 and WorldSBK at 16:55 end Monday’s running.
Tuesday’s action follows a similar pattern to Monday, although this time it is WorldSSP that kicks off the action at 10:00am. WorldSBK riders will start their day at 10:55am followed by WorldSSP300 at 11:50am. The morning action is rounded out by WorldSSP, starting at 12:30. With the morning session finishing later, the afternoon session starts 15 minutes later than Monday at 13:45 with WorldSBK machines. WorldSSP300 will take to the track at 14:40 and again at 17:20, while WorldSBK’s final session will start at 16:15. The final WorldSSP action will start at 15:20 on Tuesday.
