Malaysian rider Adam Norrodin took part in WorldSSP for the first time in 2023 on Honda machinery as the Japanese manufacturer returns to WorldSSP with the CBR600RR. He partnered British Superbike champion Tarran Mackenzie for the Petronas MIE Racing Honda team.

A best of fifth place – in challenging conditions at the Autodrom Most, a race which was won by his teammate – was the highlight of Norrodin’s rookie season. For 2024, he will stick with the same team and keep the same teammate, but he will race in WorldSBK for the first time. Norrodin does have experience of Superbike machinery from his time racing in the Asian championship although it will be his first time in World Superbike.
