Australian Wagner first began his active racing career in 2014, at the age of 19 in his home continent of Australasia. Winning the Australasian Supersport Championship in 2014, Wagner made a wild card debut in the Australian Moto2™ round at Phillip Island the same year with MarcVDS. For 2015 he made the move to the world stage in the FIM Supersport World Championship, in which he was able to secure some points scoring finishes. 2016 proved a challenging year for the youngster; however he continued with his gritty attitude and will be looking to bounce back with GEMAR Team Lorini for 2017, switching to the Honda CBR600RR.
