Experienced racer Alex Baldolini began his racing career on 125cc and 250cc machinery, he spent 11 seasons in the Grand Prix paddock making his debut in 2000. With many points scoring finishes to his name, the Italian’s highlight was securing a Moto2™ podium finish in the 2010 Portuguese Grand Prix. Switching over to the FIM Supersport World Championship, Baldolini had a consistent debut season as well as a podium finish at Misano World Circuit. Spending the past two seasons aboard an MV Agusta, the 31 year old has continued with reliable results and will hope to improve on his top eight championship spot with Race Department ATK#25.
