Bradley Ray switched to WorldSBK for 2023 with the Yamaha Motoxracing Racing Team on the back of success in his native Britain. After a solid rookie season where he claimed a top six finish at the iconic Imola, the Brit secured a second season with the team and this year, he will compete in all rounds; not just the European outings. Ray took nine wins on his way to the British title in 2022, but the 25-year-old from Kent has experience inside the MotoGP™ paddock.
After taking sixth in the British 125cc championship in 2011, Ray moved up to the Red Bull Rookies Cup and took seventh place, returning for another campaign there in 2013 and 2014. He has also raced in what was then known as the CEV Moto3™ Championship, finishing 15th and 11th in 2013 and 2014 before returning to Britain in 2015. Third in the British Supersport championship in 2016 earned him a place on the Superbike grid in 2017. In 2018, he made a wildcard appearance at Donington Park with Buildbase Suzuki and showed his talent straight away as he took two points finishes on home soil.
