About

Can Oncu will have his fifth year on the WorldSSP grid and continues with the Kawasaki Puccetti Racing once again. Oncu took three podiums, including a maiden victory, in the first four races of 2023 but a return to Europe and a crash at Assen kept him sidelined for several months. He returned at Magny-Cours, before showing his sheer grit and determination with a podium at Jerez. Oncu is already a motorcycle history maker, becoming the youngest ever winner of a Grand Prix when he won in Moto3™ at Valencia at just 15 years old. 2024 for Oncu, while he didn’t make a clear step forward in his performances compared to 2023, he finished in the same 13th place position in WorldSSP. While unlike 2023 he finished with 0 podiums, he improved his consistency, finishing within the top 10 in 9 of the 22 races on the season. 2025 brings with it a move to Yamaha, a departure from the Kawasaki machinery he had raced with his past five seasons in WorldSSP.
