Lachlan Epis started out in dirt track racing following the example of many other Australian riders, before passing onto asphalt in 2013. After competing in the Superstock 600 European Championship in 2015 on a Kawasaki, 2016 saw him make the jump to World Supersport with Response RE Racing. Staying with a ZX-6R, he made his points scoring debut in the final race in Qatar, whilst 2017 welcomed a steadier season in the series. With the same structure and bike in 2018, the young Australian rider hopes to bring forward his experience to improve results and strengthen in the category.
