Nicolo Bulega had an outstanding rookie campaign in 2024 aboard the Ducati Panigale V4 R and he’ll be hoping he can go one better in 2025. He remains with the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati squad for 2025, alongside double Champion teammate Alvaro Bautista, as he looks to add more wins and podiums to an already impressive resume – will he be a title contender this season?
Ducati (2024-)
The #11 was promoted to WorldSBK for the 2024 season after winning the 2023 World Supersport title, and he soon delivered on his potential. A winner from the off in a flag-to-flag masterclass in Australia, in Race 1, was the first of six wins in his rookie season. 24 podiums from a possible 36 helped him finish second in the Championship, ahead of Bautista, after a stellar rookie season.
WorldSSP (2022-2023)
Prior to his move to WorldSBK, Bulega competed in WorldSSP for two seasons. He linked up with the Aruba.it Racing WorldSSP team in 2022 and claimed nine podiums as Ducati returned to the Championship, finishing fourth in the standings. 2023 was the breakout season for ‘Bulegas’ though, with an incredible 16 wins in 24 races as he claimed the World Supersport title in commanding fashion.
Before WorldSSP
Bulega had a big reputation heading into World Championship racing, making his Moto3™ debut in 2025 after claiming the then-FIM CEV Moto3™ Junior World Championship in the same year. He stayed in Moto3™ for three full seasons, with two podiums, before moving to Moto2™. Three seasons there beckoned before his highly-successful move to WorldSSP.
