After two seasons in WorldSSP, including winning the title in 2023, Nicolo Bulega has earnt a WorldSBK seat – and a factory seat at the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati alongside Alvaro Bautista, no less. 16 wins from 24 races last year propelled him to top spot and his adaptation to the Panigale V4 R has been mesmerizingly quick, topping three out of four days of 2024 testing before Phillip Island.
Before his successful stint in WorldSSP, the #11 had four seasons in Moto3™ and three in Moto2™. In the former, ‘Bulegas’ took two podiums, both in 2016, as he recorded a best Championship finish of seventh. Two more seasons in the lightweight class yielded little, but, with his potential clear for everyone to see, he secured a Moto2™ seat for 2019. His first year in the Championship would prove to be his best as he recorded three top-ten finishes and his best Moto2™ result of P7 at Brno.
