26-year-old German Patrick Hobelsberger has competed in the IDM Supersport Championship, where he achieved one podium in 2018, before moving to the CIV Supersport series in 2019. He made his WorldSSP debut in 2019 at Misano and impressed. Having shown good prospects in 2021 in a handful of races, the German rider is with Vesa Kallio’s Kallio Racing set-up, where he will aim to be in the top positions.
