Australia’s hopes rest firmly on Tom Toparis, no stranger to WorldSSP competition, having competed in the Championship before, achieving a best of 11th at Phillip Island in 2019. The 19-year-old rode in a variety of national championships in 2019, achieving a podium in the UK before dominating the Australian series and becoming Champion. Having ridden in Germany too, Toparis has a well-rounded approach to WorldSSP action in 2020, as he steps up to take on the European rounds in the ESS.
