Yeray Ruiz made his WorldSSP debut last year with six races as he ended the season with Yamaha machinery as he scored points in all but two of his six races. His performances have earned him a seat on the 2024 grid, with the Spaniard lining up with VFT Racing on the Yamaha R6. Ruiz will take part in his fourth season in the WorldSBK paddock after last year’s WorldSSP efforts, a race-winning campaign in the Yamaha R3 series and a maiden WorldSSP300 season in 2021.
