Yuki Okamoto will make his World Supersport debut in the 2025 season, making the transition from Japanese Superbikes 1000 of which he is the defending champion. Okamoto’s JSB 1000 win last year increased Yamaha’s streak in the competition to eight championships in a row, beating out his teammate Kastuyuki Nakasuga for the title. Okamoto will be racing alongside 2024 runner-up Stefano Manzi as a part of Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing.
